Pony Rides
These are extremely popular adding variety to a child's day at Snettisham Park and take place during school holiday periods. Pony rides at Snettisham Park for children aged between 3-12 years old and under 9 stone in weight.
We hold a full Five Star license for Pony Rides and we enjoy giving our little riders the very best care and attention. Our qualified / experienced staff and quiet ponies are patient with children - many of whom will never have sat on or ridden a pony before, so we love to offer this opportunity for them to gain self-confidence in a new experience. A BSI standard safety hat is correctly fitted by our trained staff and must be worn by our riders.

Pony Rides
A short lead rein pony ride around our small paddock. Pony rides are booked every 15 minutes so to avoid disappointment, pre-booking over the phone is recommended.
Tuesday and Thursday
10.30am-2.30pm during Norfolk School Holidays
NB: No pony rides take place if the weather is too hot, wet/windy.
Pony Treks
For the more adventurous little visitor, we offer 1/2 hour lead rein pony treks around the farm track. It is best to pre-book these over the phone before your visit, to avoid disappointment on the day. Mums and Dads are welcome to enjoy walking with us or can relax in the visitor centre with a cup of tea!

Pony Grooming
Why not help us groom one of our ponies. Toby loves to be fussed and groomed by visitors, as as well as ridden whilst Beetle, Hamish and Joey love to give children a pony ride during Norfolk school holidays.

Joey
13.2 hh grey cob
Joey is super friendly with a great sense of humour! He is extremely inquisitive and loves to be fussed. He is great for the older children.
Beetle
12 hh Dartmoor pony
Beetle is an extremely handsome pony with manners to match. He was also Champion in Show at Heacham Show so has every right to show off but is far too polite!
Hamish
9 hh Shetland pony
Hamish is adorable. He looks cute and cuddly and is perfect for the youngest of our little jockeys.
Toby
13.2hh Coloured cob
Toby is beautiful pony - a real softie and very gentle. He is super for nervous riders! A firm favourite with many!
