This year we welcomed 600 new born lambs.
Lambing time is a great experience for our visitors. This year we will welcome nearly 1000 new born lambs this year. All our ewes lamb indoors enabling visitors to see "lambing live", as well as ewes with new-born lambs at foot taking their first steps - its a truly special experience. Many visitors will be lucky enough to see them being born!
During December, our first flock of ewes are scanned by Ian Beckett so that we knew what to expect during January-March. This is perfect news for visitors during February half term looking to come and watch 'Live Lambing'.
Meet our orphan lambs and get to bottle feed them during the spring and summer months. This activity is wonderful fun for all ages and everyone can get involved.
During the spring you can hear from our experienced farm staff the latest details about how the lambing is progressing and how special spring time is down on our farm.
This activity captivates everyone. We have to feed the lambs at regular time just like human babies. Our visitors are able to help us feed up to 60 orphan lambs at a given time!
Like most of our activities at Snettisham Park, bottle-feeding lambs is a wheelchair friendly activity.
